Our structure

Interpret Europe operates on a two-tier system with a Board of Directors (Executive Management) and a Supervisory Committee. The roles of these two bodies and of the General Assembly are defined by the Constitution.

Who’s doing what?

The General Assembly usually meets once a year. It elects the Supervisory Committee, discharges the Board of Directors from liability and decides on changes to the Constitution.

The Supervisory Committee appoints and supervises the directors. It decides the general strategy and policies of the association and can appoint its own advisors.

The Board of Directors (Executive Management) implements the strategy. The managing directors are the legal representatives of Interpret Europe. They appoint coordinators to organise own working teams.
