Interpret Europe key events

Crossing borders:
Our Spring Event in Prague

19-21 May 2017

Would you like to have a new look at the historic centre of Prague with its cobblestone lanes, cathedrals, towers and bridges? SIMID, the Czech Association for Heritage Interpretation, is organising IE’s Spring Event 2017 in Prague. In a historic farm estate turned into a modern eco centre, we will enjoy workshops and presentations on interpretation in East and West, in higher education and in vocational training. IE coordinators and their teams are invited to arrive one day earlier, to discuss IE‘s progress and structure. More Information

Making connections:
Re-imagining landscapes

3-6 October 2017 in Inverness

Join us in Inverness, capital of the Scottish Highlands, and enjoy roaring stags, late running salmon and a warming whisky with old friends and new. This joint conference with the UK Association for Heritage Interpretation (AHI) will highlight the power and potential of our multi-disciplinary approach in enabling people to find meaning in landscapes. During exciting study visits we will experience landscapes as a meeting place, for life support and livelihoods and as wilderness. More information
