Our members and supporters

In July 2010 twenty-seven founding members gave birth to Interpret Europe. They came from 10 countries including Latvia and Spain, Scotland and Turkey.

From its very beginning Interpret Europe brings together interpretation professionals working as consultants, others are employed by museums, universities, regional development agencies and NGOs. Some work in nature conservation, others have a focus on cultural heritage, on tourism, and on community development.

Despite these divers backgrounds all have one common interest: furthering interpretation in their countries and in Europe.

Much learning does not teach understanding.
