IE summer courses 2016

Wouldn't you like to share an international training experience at one of the most beautiful sites of Southern Moravia?

From 12 to 20 August 2016, you can meet interpreters from all over Europe at our courses for Certified Interpretive Guides (CIG) and for Certified Interpretive Guide Trainers (CIGT).

Our partner will be SIMID, the Czech Association for Heritage Interpretation. The courses will take place in Moravia during SIMID’s Summer School on Heritage Interpretation which will be supported by the Swiss government.

There are places for 12 guide trainer candidates (6 subsidised and 6 self-funded) and for 28 guide candidates (19 subsidised and 9 self-funded). All applicants need to be individual IE members and will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve base.

Interpretation is a voyage
of discovery in the field
of human emotions
and intellectual growth,
and it is hard to foresee
that time when
the interpreter can
confidently say,
"Now we are wholly
adequate to our task".
