Step by step: Registration and Grundtvig grant application

1. Pre-registration for the course

Please fill in and submit the online registration form

2. Confirmation of pre-registration

We will send accepted participants a confirmation of pre-registration. (Grundtvig IST courses need to provide an inter-cultural experience, and no nationality should exceed 30 per cent.)

3. Application for a Grundtvig grant

You should apply for a Grundtvig IST grant at your National Agency for the Lifelong Learning Programme if you live in a country that takes part in the programme.

Deadline: usually 16 January 2012 but maybe earlier in your country!

Look for "Mobility" and "In-Service Training" or "IST courses". Read the instructions very carefully; there is no guarantee that you application will be approved. You need to fulfil the formal requirements completely, and you need to prove that your attendance on the course meets the programme's purposes and goals.

In the application form, please refer to course reference number: LI-2012-002-001, Session ID: 42232

If you are a translator, you must be careful to make your involvement in adult education clear by showing that you have worked or intend to work frequently in the context of non-formal adult education at museums, protected areas etc.

4. Decision by your National Agency

You will receive a decision from your National Agency. If your application is successful you will receive a grant contract from your National Agency to be signed. It will also cover pre-payment procedures that help you to pay the registration fees in advance.

5. Finalising the course registration

You must inform Interpret Europe about a positive grant decision. We wlll send you a request for payment, and your registration will be completed when your deposit is transferred in time. The cancellation rules then apply.

If the minimum number of participants is not met by 1 June we shall have to cancel the course and refund all payments received.

If you have knowledge,
let others light their candles at it.
